Here, we meet Guest Chef Michelle Theron from Pierneef àLa Motte. Her studies, evoked a passion for many different styles of cuisine. Being part of a new food awakening in Africa is what truly excites her. Her passion for home-cooked, traditional farm-style food is the secret ingredient of Cape winelands cuisine served at Pierneef àLa Motte restaurant.
This coming month's Expressions menu will be launched on Thursday 30 August at our wine and dine with the winemakers and available thereafter on our MINT restaurant Table d'Hôte dinner menu for the month of September. Two courses @ R175. Three courses @ R210 including a glass of wine.
Our 'Expressions of...' launch evenings take place on the last Thursday of each month and begin at 18h00 with a private wine tasting. This is followed by a 4-course dinner with paired wines at 19h00 for 19h30. R350 per person including mineral water and parking at the adjacent Mandela Rhodes Place.
Wines featured on the night will be available for off-consumption purchase at cellar door prices through our newly opened wine kiosk which is open seven days a week!
