This event epitomizes a refreshingly novel spring experience, affording the Valley’s highly esteemed wineries an opportunity to showcase their new vintages and releases.
Well-reputed wineries such as Boekenhoutskloof, Boschendal, Cabrière, Graham Beck Wines, La Motte, L’Ormarins, Môreson and Rupert and Rothschild will be coming to the party, offering tastings of their wines and hosting charming events.
Each participating wine farm will have exciting activities on offer: tasting their new wine releases and vintages, cellar and vineyard tours, barrel-tastings, wine-tasting on horseback, scrumptious food and wine pairings, art exhibitions, live music, golf-driving competitions amidst spectacular settings, to name but a few of these delightful experiences.
Franschhoek Uncorked also coincidently marks the launch of another inaugural event, The Franschhoek Affair, which is effectively ‘Franschhoek on Sale’, where shops, restaurants, farms, boutiques, hotels, and guesthouses are all offering reduced rates for the month of September.

Access Cards: R50 per access card for unlimited wine tastings at participating wineries throughout the weekend, excluding events. Access cards will be available from the Franschhoek Wine Valley Tourist Association (FWVTA) and at any of the participating wineries.
Ticket Price Includes: All wine tastings and a wine tasting glass.
Activity Bookings: Pre-book with the relevant wine farms to avoid disappointment.
