Intro :  DELHEIM CELBRATES THE START OF SUMMER WITH SUMMER PRUNING

Delheim is renowned for its unusual, quirky events and now invites you to join them for summer pruning in the vineyards on 15 November 2009.
 
Cost : R120
Location :  Delheim, Stellenbosch
 
Description : Most pruning is done in winter but come along for this unusual pruning where longer shoots will be pruned when the grapes are just starting to form. After the morning of working in the vineyards, head over to the stunning deck for a scrumptious Delheim picnic.

The cost is R120 per person (including the pruning and picnic) and begins at 10h30. Booking is essential on 021 888 4607.

Directions:
Delheim is set in the beautiful Simonsberg Ward of Stellenbosch. From Cape Town, take the N1 Highway to Paarl. Take the R44 exit at Klapmuts turning (Exit 47). Carry on the R44 for 7.5km towards Stellenbosch. You will see a Stellenbosch Wine Route signpost “Delheim / Muratie & Knorhoek Road”. Turn left into Knorhoek Road. Follow the signs to Delheim. You drive through Muratie to get to Delheim.
