All tours, tastings & sales are conducted from the tasting room & auditorium at Haute Cabrière, next to the Haute Cabrière Cellar Restaurant.

By word of mouth this presentation has become so popular that we have to reserve the event for customers only and must exclude all tour guides with groups bigger than 8 people. Achim and Takuan would like you to arrive in a relaxed mood, eager for fun and happy to gain some vital information on their wine and sparkling wine philosophy that can be condensed into Achims famous mantra: Sun Soil Vine Man.

An indescribable mix of fun and serious tasting, the sabrage being the centre of the happenings, with Achim or Takuan literally cracking bottle after bottle of Pierre Jourdan Cap classique bubbly with a French cavalry sabre continues till 13h30. Be advised not to book your lunch in Franschhoek before 13h30, so as not to miss out on this great show.
