As Vergenoegd is one of the oldest farms in the Cape, it has many features of historical interest.

When doing the historical walk-about, these features are introduced to the visitor in an informal and informative manner.

Except for the Manor house, which is a historical monument, the visitor will be treated to interesting truths and stories about this historical Estate.
