LA MOTTE MUSEUM’S EXCITING NEW MODERN EXHIBITION

The La Motte Museum has introduced a very exciting exhibition of modern French tapestries and ceramics by French artist Jean Lurçat (1892 - 1966), who spear-headed the movement to reinstate tapestry as an art form in France. With well-known tapestries such as Porto Alegre, La Sonata, Coq and Les mouttes to name a few as well as some of Lurçat's beautiful ceramic works, this flamboyant exhibition complements the architecture of the museum and will enchant art-lovers.
