Join us for a farm trip on Groote Post!

We'll take you through our 2 000ha game camp, where you'll be able to spot some of Africa's indigenous antelope; The Eland, Kudu, Gemsbok, Bontebok, Springbok, Red Hartebeest, Fellow Deer, Ostrich, Black Wildebeest as well as Quagga. The 2 000ha game camp also includes the highly threatened Swartland Granite Renosterveld, Swartland Shale Renosterveld and Atlantis Sand Fynbos. The Groote Post renosterveld makes up 4,7% of South Africa's total area under this vegetation.

The drive will also take you up to our vineyards, to see where next years harvest is in the making. You'll even be able to spot Table Mountain from the top of the Vineyards!

The drive includes a stop for refreshments and a glass of wine while enjoying nature and the stunning views.

Farm drives have to be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Costs: R120 per adult and R50 for children under the age of 12.

Starting times: Monday - Sunday: 10h00

We require a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 people.

Follow the R27, the West Coast Road towards Langebaan. Turn right onto the Darling Hills Road opposite Grotto Bay turnoff. After 10 km turn right to the Groote Post cellar. Alternatively, take the R307 out of Darling towards Cape Town and turn off at the Darling Hills Road. After 7km turn left to the Groote Post Cellar.
