minutes drive from Cape Town. Guests are taken on a culinary journey where they
can enjoy an array of dishes exploring the fusion of our traditional South African cooking with the
various influences of cooking cultures along the Spice Route, all the way from
Europe to the East and the places that once formed the empire of the Dutch East
India Company.Each
dish is carefully crafted and prepared to compliment the award-winning Spice
Route wines.
New Executive Chef,
Marion Kumpf brings
with her 17 years of culinary experience, innovation and exciting changes to
the menu. Kumpf has a love for creating and combining exotic spices and enjoys
creating innovative vegetarian dishes, such as her oven-roasted vegetable
Cannelloni, placed on creamy leek ragout and served with a fresh summer garden
salad. And for those with a sweet tooth
(and an exploring palate) try the Mango-basil Crème Brulee, combined with mini
profiteroles filled with coconut mousse.
