The latest addition to the leopards identified by the CLT Boland Project is a male called Neo (BM18 - Boland male #18).
This leopard was first caught on camera at the back of the Bergriver dam, and hassince also been photographed in Jonkershoek and on Lourensford Estate in the Helderberg basin.

The CLT Boland Project Southern survey is currently running, covering the area from Franschhoekthrough Jonkershoek, Hottentots-Holland, Groenlandberg to the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. We hopeto see much more of this leopard in the near future!

We would like to urge more private landowners to obtain camera traps. We have finite resources, and thedata contributions made by private landowners are very valuable indeed!
