The Berghuis (mountain cabin) at Koopmanskloof is a closely guarded secret for those who know and have experienced it... and what a treasure!

The entertainment area has a 180° panoramic view from Cape Hangklip in a south-easterly direction, through the whole False Bay, Cape Point, Simon's Town, Cape Town and Table Mountain, Table Bay and Blouberg right to the pearls of Paarl in the north west. It is truly magnificent, and a rare sight!

The bunk beds accomodate 16 people and the facilities include two outside braai areas, a pizza oven, an inside hearth for those really cold evenings, and a kitchen with an electric stove and oven.

Wood and drinking water must be brought along, but there is enough water for ablutions.
