When describing our wine, Toit Wessels uses words such as intensity, complexity and elegance. Our wines show a strong sense of place, reflecting the elegance and commitment to the excellence of the estate. Ridgeback's wines are elegant and will age well and gain in character when set down for a few years. Vansha is our entry level wine putting the emphasis on easy drinking. This will be your every day drinking wine. The Vansha wines are light and fruity on the palate.

The friendly, competent and knowledgeable staff in the tasting room will ensure a one in a life time tasting experience. There is a wide range of world-class wines to choose from. You can have a tasting of 5 wines for R15.00 or 10 wines for R25.00. If the customer purchases more that 6 bottles the tasting will be free of charge.

From the tasting room enjoy a hike in the countryside over a designated trail (approx 2 hours) where one can enjoy the countryside and sample the wines after a hard walk. Restaurant facilities available at the Deck.
