The KWV Wine Emporium. The perfect place to experience perfect South African wine. Situated in the Paarl Valley, the new Emporium is a multi-sensory experience that's unforgettable for any visitor.

Start with the renowned KWV cellar tour that features the famous Cathedral Cellar with its high vaulted ceiling and some of the world's largest vats within the world's largest cellar complex. Then move on to the Emporium's wine-tasting areas, showcasing our award-winning brands of wines, brandies and fortified wines, and discover why we're regarded as the benchmark of South African wines.

A light snack at the new coffee shop, followed by gift, curio and wine shopping are the perfect indulgences with which to conclude the KWV Experience.

  • Turn left onto Castle St.

  • Continue onto New Market St./R102 - continue to follow R102
  • Turn left onto Lower Church St.
  • Merge onto N1
  • Take exit 55 for R45/R101 toward Franschhoek/Paarl/Main Road
  • Turn left onto Main St./R101/R45
  • Turn right onto Bergrivier Boulevard South
  • Take the 1st right onto Cecilia St.
  • At the roundabout, take the 5th exit and stay on Cecilia St
