Vergenoegd proudly introduces their elegant red wines to visitors in the tasting room. Situated in the historical Cape Dutch Manor house, Vergenoegd offers a unique experience to wine lovers. Wines offered are aged to perfection and presents the visitor with the opportunity to taste of the oldest wines for tasting available on the wine route. Classic, award winning reds made in a traditional old world style are presented to visitors. The tasting room offers the opportunity to savor Vergenoegd wines in a welcoming and hospitable environment.

A walking tour through the vineyards takes the visitor to view the vineyards explaining the importance of terroir and viticulture in making wines of quality. This tour is recommended for those with a keep interest in winemaking.

Cellar tours are aimed at introducing the visitor to an "old working cellar". Although modern winemaking equipment and techniques are incorporated in the cellar at Vergenoegd, the traditional "oop kuipe" is still used in the making of Vergenoegd wines.

Wine Tasting fee is charged at R15.00 per head.
Vineyard walking tour @ R10.00 per head.
Cellar tour @ R10.00 per head.

Wine tasting, vineyard tour and cellar tour at R25.00 per head.
