Stellekaya Shiraz 2005

2007 Michelangelo International Wine Awards - Silver
2007 Juliet Cullinan Wine Connoisseur's Awards - Third: Shiraz

This wine was inspired by the constellation Capricorn, whose brightest star is a 'giant red' called Algedi. Algedi is also known as 'the lord of the sacred eye'.
A full bodied wine with a deep red colour. A typical Cape styled shiraz, with lovely spicy overtones and fresh clean fruits.

Venison roasts and stews like Springbok loin on herbed rissoto with red wine jus.
