Appearance: Blackish plum in colour
Aroma: Ripe blackcurrants a plumy fruit. Soft ripe tannins balance toasty oak aromas and sweet fruit flavours.
Palate: Good structure with soft, clean finish.

15 Jun 10 16358  Robert Redfern-West Wonderful surprise: despite high alcohol(14.5)splendid form from first taste through mid palate to down the gullet. Strong,with crafty hints of cherry and tobacco. Had with bluefish (yes, unusual pairing) and worked beautifully.
