Colour: Ruby red
Nose: Powerful berry nose - sweet, ripe, rich aromas with a hint of oak Palate: Rich, full opulent flavours, yet light on the palate which is persistent, soft and pleasing. A wine with a good, well-structured backbone of ripe tannins.
Drink now or keep till 2012.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Appreciation: Not necessary to decant, but please chill.
Food pairing: A good wine to enjoy with spicy foods, red meats and bolognaise
Terroir Slope: Very gently, southerly
Soil: Kalkveld, rocky, chalk rich Climate: Moderate summer, with low night temperatures, cold winter Wind: Cool south easterly (summer)
Yield: 8 ton/ha
Maturation: Lightly oaked
