Another glorious autumn day in the winelands - up Blaauwklippen Road, near Stellenbosch
On a still warm autumn, day, there is not much to beat a drive in the winelands. Judy Brower visited the classic Waterford Wine Estate, and on the way passed a few other well-loved wineries; Kleinood, home of Tamboerskloof wines, Dornier (interesting architecture and combination of food and wine at their Bodega restaurant), Stellenzicht, home of the Golden Triangle, and Stellenrust

Dornier Winemakers Dinner 31 January 13
Jeanine Faure, Dornier's winemaker, hosted a fantastic dinner on Thursday evening to highlight her Limited Release Range of Dornier Semillon, Malbec and Tempranillo. These were all carefully paired with gorgeous dishes from Bodega kitchen. A great time had by all!

Cellar 2 Cellar Wine Experience 2012
Mart-Mari du Preez from Wine.co.za attended this years Cellar 2 Cellar Wine Experience, all dressed up for 12km worth of winetasting. It kicked off at Blaauwklippen and wound its way through the vineyards to Dornier, Kleinood, Waterford, Stellenzicht and Stellenrust, ending again at Blaauwklippen, where the best fancy dress male and female won their full weight in wine.
