The skins and pips give the "Grappa" its nutty character in the spirit, the fruitiness comes from the skins.

The grape varieties that were used to make this brandy is a clandestine recipe, but it is a blend of white grapes that were grown and harvested at full ripeness on Kaapzicht Wine Estate. The raisin quality comes from the ripeness at which the grapes are harvested.
