Recycling & Enterprise Development Come Together @ Villiera

24 April 2012  by Villiera Wines
"In an effort to progress with enterprise development while considering the environment, Villiera has initiated the production of a recycled single bottle carrier bag.

Old newspapers are gathered and handed over to Freedom Mhluzana. He has formed an enterprise (Freedom's Enterprise) in the local township to produce carry bags with recycled newspaper. The handles are made from surplus rope and old Villiera labels are used for reinforcements. To ensure a return for the staff of this new enterprise, the bags sell for R5 each and they are available at Villiera and from selected trade outlets."
