Trunks full of flavour!
02 May 2012  by Overhex Wines
At Balance Bistro in the picturesque Breede River Valley, hearty hospitality, a cosy ambience and fabulous food await you. And then of course there's the terrific wine list comprising Overhex Wines' impressive portfolio - all in all an 'elephant's sufficiency'!
Now there's even more good news. Since 1 March Balance Bistro's new chef, PJ Lombard, has been adding his own exciting flair and flavours to the tried and tested Balance recipe. What's more, due to public demand, the Bistro will henceforth also be open on a Sunday. So next time you're in the Worcester region, why not pop in for a leisurely breakfast or, better still, bring the family for a sumptuous Sunday lunch?

Imagine an irresistible starter salad of blue cheese, pear and ostrich carpaccio followed by a delectable, traditional main meal of bobotie, pumpkin fritters and sambals. Then, if you still have room, how about a mouth-watering sago pudding or a scrumptious slice of carrot cake? A magnificent spread indeed, and according to PJ his menu will change from Sunday to Sunday.

Balance Bistro's new trading hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 10h00 to 16h00. Children are welcome; the outside area provides a spacious, safe playground with a jungle gym and water worm.
