Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, Franschhoek, home to an award-winning collection of wines by Jaco Marais, unique culinary experiences in The Restaurant and The Jonkershuis, contemporary art at The Gallery, designer objets d’art at The Shop, educational wine tastings in The Tasting Room and 5-star accommodation in The Owner’s Cottage is proud to present new guest experiences and rates for 2012.
The Owner’s Cottage now offers a Bed and Breakfast rate. This luxurious 5-star graded property has previously only been available to guests on an exclusive-use basis. However, due to several requests, an individual Bed and Breakfast rate for the Angel’s Suite and the four en-suite bedrooms has been implemented. Winter Bed and Breakfast rack rates range per room from just R4150 to R5810 per night.
The Owner’s Cottage welcomes guests to unsurpassed luxury boutique accommodation - comprising five beautifully appointed bedrooms (including the Angel’s Suite), a spacious lounge, designer kitchen and a conservatory for dining. This is further enhanced by a manicured garden with a loggia, swimming pool and an elevated spa pool overlooking the vineyards.
New wines launched for 2012 include The Grande Provence Shiraz 2008, The Grande Provence 2007, The Grande Provence Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 and The Grande Provence Pinot Noir 2010 all of which have been created by celebrated Winemaker, Jaco Marais and perfectly complement the seasonal signature menus in The Restaurant.
2012 will mark an historical year for Grande Provence and the Franschhoek Valley with the introduction of the Franschhoek Wine Tram, which will offer guests unique wine tasting tours stopping at selected="true"="true" wine estates. It is scheduled to be launched in spring 2012.
Comments General Manager, Amanda Roberts, “The new B&B rates are already proving quite successful, especially with Capetonians, and we are also extremely excited to be part of the Franschhoek Wine Tram route, which will be a unique experience for local and international visitors and yet another way to explore the Winelands in true style.”
The Estate proudly offers guests The Owner’s Cottage, The Restaurant, The Winery, The Jonkershuis, The Gallery, Sculpture Garden and The Shop.
