"Early Bird" Tickets now on sale for Joburg's finest culinary event

Taste of Joburg returns to the Montecasino Outdoor Event Area from 27 to 30 September this year and to celebrate, loyal fans are being offered an "Early Bird" ticket discount: Entry ticket and tasting glass for just R50 until the 22nd of August 2012.
With 14 of the city’s most acclaimed restaurants and carefully chosen exhibitors to satisfy 20 000 of Gauteng’s most dedicated and sophisticated foodies, Taste of Joburg brings together the city’s finest restaurants, award-winning wineries, premium drink brands, artisan producers and boutique exhibitors.

Some of this year’s fantastic entertainment includes:

Pick n Pay Fresh Living Chefs Theatre

A unique opportunity to see the city’s top chefs in action – featuring demos, culinary challenges, entertaining tutorials and enlightening Q&A sessions and a chance to meet the team behind the award-winning “Fresh Living” magazine.

Fine Brandy. By Design

Chefs PJ and Eric pair a six-course menu with a collection of South Africa’s finest brandies.

Snowflake Pancake Feature

Demonstrations will be held on how to make the perfect pancakes for Starters, Main Course and Sweet dessert.

The Pick n Pay Wine and Canapé Experience

An interactive area where guests will be instructed on how to create and pair simple, stylish and utterly delicious canapés with a wide range fine wine to complement the balance of flavours.

Jägermeister’s Jäger-Truck

Jägermeister’s Jäger-Truck is a one of a kind six-wheel drive monster truck that will be transformed into a chill area where guests can enjoy ice-cold Jägermeister shots or cocktails.

Amazing Thailand

Visitors can look forward to Thai chefs cooking up popular dishes in various cooking demonstrations as well as indulge in Thai massages.

Open a Redds!

Redds have introduced a new look pack, new taste and all new drinking ritual experience inspired by international trends, which is set to take the country by storm.
