No more icebuckets!
Sommeliers and fine restaurants worldwide take great pride in the care of fine wines. Wines are kept in special wine refrigerators to maintain their ideal serving temperatures. Much of this effort is wasted as the wines are put in ice buckets causing their temperatures to drop dramatically to 3 degrees C and the wine to lose its bouquet.

Invented by a restaurant owner in Europe, the Winesceptre is an innovative and simple way to maintain the optimal temperature of a pre-chilled bottle for 45 minutes after it has been opened and while it is being served at the table. The Winesceptre is made from the same stainless steel as the high-graded steel wine tanks and will have no effect on the taste of the wine.

Just place the Winesceptre in the freezer for 3 hours at –20 deg C, pour the first glass of chilled (+8 deg C) wine to make room for the sceptre. Insert the sceptre right into the bottle of wine. The Winesceptre stays in the bottle while pouring.

Available in the standard design with the grape top plus other variations with elegant crystal in a range of colours, golf ball and one that lends itself to corporate branding. There is also a gold plated version plus a table and restaurant/wine tasting model.

Available from select wine shops nationwide from R795.00 (worldwide price) or by mail order.
