Ken Forrester Wines had the pleasure of hosting the CNN Inside Africa team to film a very relaxed discussion on the Stellenbosch wine region and the South African Wine Industry, whilst tasting wines from the Stellenbosch wine region. Ken was joined by fellow winemakers in the Industry Carl van der Merwe of De Morgenzon, Bruwer Raats of Raats Family Wines and Diale Rangaka of Mhudi Wines.

Two Oceans Wine Lightweight Bottle
South African wine brand, Two Oceans, is now sold exclusively in light-weight 350 gram bottles that are fully recyclable. The label, its inks and adhesive are also biodegradable.

The new screwcap-topped bottle is 110 grams lighter than before, to represent a saving of 120 kg of carbon equivalent emissions for every 1 000 bottles produced.

On Sunday, 20th November fans of OBiKWA wine and Getaway gathered at Bottelary Hill outside Cape Town to enjoy a morning of mountain biking and outdoorsy family fun... After the mountain biking challenge, everyone, including our winemaker, Michael Bucholz enjoyed tasting our range of South African wine and chilling in the natural scenery.

The Z-Collection is our flagship range and is made by using traditional methods... Very limited quantity of wine is produced and the end product is distinctly different yet elegant. We rely on natural fermentation and make use of new 500lt french oak barrels. The grapes are not destemmed before fermentation which is quite unique
