The 8th annual Stellenbosch Wine Festival boasts an exciting line-up of
local music talent this year including Sima, Zamar and Gerald Clark,
allowing you to experience only the best wines from the area with a
song in your heart from 30 July to 2 August at the Paul Roos Centre.

Wine enthusiasts can enjoy an upbeat program of entertainment, free to all festival goers. With the rugby match broadcast on the big screen, there is no need to leave the festival early on Saturday. The wine bar will be open for the duration of the match and snacks will be available for purchase.
Rub shoulders with your favourite winemakers, taste exquisite wines and delight in gourmet snacks prepared by only the best chefs in the area. With more than 500 wines from 170 exhibitors under one roof, there is now more variety available than ever before.
The Stellenbosch Wine Week, which takes place from 24 - 31 July, has many more treats in store for festival goers.
Highlights:
Acclaimed singer and songwriter, Lize Beekman, will kick-off the Wine Week on 24 July and treat wine lovers to a show in Delheim's cellar with her melodies, in aid of the Stellenbosch Child Welfare. Evening includes dinner and wine. Call Delheim at (021) 888-4600.

Enjoy a variety of versatile genres performed by Sima & Band, ranging from jazz to soulful ballads in three official South African languages - Zulu, English and Afrikaans on Thursday 30 July 2009 at 19h00 at the Paul Roos Centre, Hall C. Entrance is free of charge.
The 5 talented musicians of Zamar will enchant audiences with nothing short of a world-class performance and their passion for music and instruments on Friday 31 July 2009 at 19h00 in the Paul Roos Centre, Hall C. The band will also perfrom on Sunday 02 August, 14h00 in the Paul Roos Centre, Hall C. Entrance is free of charge.
Gerald Clark, described as one of the best blues-musicians in the country, is ready to stir up emotions when he invites the crowd to experience his life through his musical talents on Saturday 1 August at 15h00 in the Paul Roos Centre, Hall C. Entrance free of charge.
With a live broadcast of the rugby match on big screen, there's no need to leave the festival early on Saturday. Snacks and drinks will be available. The rugby starts at 17h00 in the Paul Roos Centre, Hall C. Entrance free of charge.
The Stellenbosch Wine Festival makes place for the little ones on Sunday with jumping castles, a variety of games and a tailor-made demonstration for kids at the Clover demonstration kitchen. A Kiddies Care Service will be available for kids between the ages of 2 and 7 years on Saturday and Sunday. Kids under the age of 18 enters the festival for free on Sunday.
