Stay at Asara and extend your Stellenbosch Wine Festival experience
15 July 2009  by Jenny McQueen & Associates
With the Stellenbosch Wine Festival on from 30 July to 1 August, it's an ideal opportunity to turn the occasion into a short holiday break at the country's latest five-star Relais & Chateaux establishment, Asara.
Asara is offering a special Stellenbosch Wine Festival stayover package of just R950 per room including a full breakfast or stay for three nights and only pay for two!

It's also one way of avoiding driving home after the festival, for guests may leave their cars at Asara and be shuttled to the show and back, to avoid driving, even in Stellenbosch.

This 36-bedroom hotel offers luxury accommodation, fine wine tastings and superb service.

There's also a gourmet dining experience to be had at Raphael's Restaurant, with its tranquil waterside setting and spectacular views of the mountains and vineyards. Raphael's special winter warming menu of two or three courses, includes matching wines, bottled water and coffee.

A favourite day-time or after-dinner spot is Sansibar, where guests can sink into the comfort of a tawny leather couch near the fire and enjoy a light snack, incredible coffees or a dram of the finest whisky, cocktail, mulled wine (glühwein) and a fine Cuban cigar.

Asara Wine Estate & Hotel is situated on the Polkadraai Road (M12), Stellenbosch. Contact us at (021) 888-8000, fax (021) 880-8001 or click here to visit our website.
