| Grande Provence pairs up with New Zealand wines |

| Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate will present a five course degustation menu paired with award-winning Grande Provence and various New Zealand wines.

Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, Franschhoek will present a five course degustation menu paired with award-winning Grande Provence and various celebrated New Zealand wines on Friday, 29 June and Friday 27 July 2012 at 19h00 at R495 per person in The Jonkershuis.
On 29 June, the first evening, the featured wines will be Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Grande Provence Shiraz and Craggy Range Shiraz and our newly released Muscat d’Alexandrie.
On 27 July, the wines will be Grande Provence Chardonnay, Clearview Chardonnay, Grande Provence Pinot Noir and Wild Rock Pinot Noir and our newly released Muscat d’Alexandrie. Executive Chef Darren Badenhorst and Winemaker Jaco Marais will be present on both evenings to discuss the pairings when creating this latest food and wine experience.
Highlights from both menus include: Sous vide hake, homemade pancetta, acorn smoked mash, vanilla seed cauliflower puree served with clams in a cream of chervil and bone marrow chicken ballotine, morel mushrooms, Japanese truffle pomme duchesse, carrot and cardamom served with port jus, just to mention a few.
