Good Taste grows circulation by 1000 per month

Lifestyle and wine magazine, Good Taste, owned by Cape-based direct wine marketer, the Wine-of-the-Month Club, has announced that its circulation has grown by 35% during 2005.
The magazine, which is gaining 1 000 new readers per month, now boasts a circulation of 58 000.

Tai Collard, MD of the Wine-of-the-Month Club, said revenue from the magazine - now in its fifth year of printing - generated R6.8 million and contributed R800 000 to the Wine-of-the-Month Club's before tax profits for the year ended June 2004. It is expected to add R6.8 million to the wine club's revenue for the year ended June 2005.

The magazine won three prestigious awards last year - having won the same three the previous year - the Sappi Pica Trophy for BEST Customer Magazine 2005; and Sappi Best Customer Magazine, hospitality, tourism and travel 2005, and Highly Commended for INNOVATION in Magazine Publishing 2005.
