The CTICC was abuzz again last night with the South African Wine industry during the annual glittering Veritas Awards dinner. Over 1744 wines were entered, with only 58 achieving Double Gold. Old faithfuls KWV(7 Double Golds, 7 Golds), Nederburg(4DG 12G), Jordan (3DG), Simonsig(2DG 7G), Boplaas(2DG,3G), Cederberg(2DG,2G), Windmeul(2DG,2G), Guardian Peak(2DG,1G) Perdeberg(1DG,2G), Graham Beck(1DG,1G), Kleine Zalze(1DG,1G) and Rooiberg, Villiera(1DG, 1G) were some of the top achievers, with a few newer names in there too - Marianne(1 DG, 3 G) & Nabygelegen(1 DG).
