Peter Finlayson founded Bouchard Finlayson in 1989, in partnership with acclaimed Burgundian winemaker Paul Bouchard. His dedication to crafting unique wines expressive of the Hemel-en-Aarde has seen Bouchard Finlayson earn a reputation as one of South Africa’s most acclaimed wine estates. Peter pioneered the growth of Pinot Noir in South Africa, and was also responsible for introducing the Italian cultivars Sangiovese and Nebbiolo into South African vineyards.
