André Engelbrecht, who has a passion for business, started his career in the wine industry as Financial Manager at Riebeek Cellars. During his time at Riebeek Cellars he added a Post-Graduate Diploma in Tax Law, Programme in Wine Management and a MBA (Cum Laude) to his B. Com (Management Accounting) degree, all from the University of Stellenbosch.
He was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer at Riebeek Cellars on the 1st of November 2016 and is looking forward to create a shared vision for the wine producers in the Swartland region and help to implement the changes needed to reach this vision.
André is married to Chrisna and the couple has a daughter and son. His interests are reading, diving and hunting.
