Although born and bred on a wheat farm in the Swartland, Elizma Myburgh has wine in her blood and has been working in the wine industry since 1995. She has spent 10 years in Brussels in Belgium, where she ran her own wine consulting business, sharing her passion for wine with mostly expats from all over the world.
Back in South Africa she is living her dream to help making a difference and educate as many people in the wine industry.
She lectures the international WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) wine courses in South Africa through Cathy Marston’s The International Wine Education Centre (IWEC) and runs their bespoke courses.
She does corporate wine tasting and team building events.
Elizma is a WSET Diploma graduate (Associate of the Institute of Wines & Spirits) and has also received her Weinakademiker title in 2015.
Elizma is also an Associate of Institute of Wines & Spirits.
