Introduction to the wonders of wine, topics encompass wine styles and the effect of wine on the taste of food; vineyard and winemaking practices and how they contribute to making a quality wine. There is a tutored tasting at each of the presentations.
COURSE OUTLINE:
Lecture 1
The five taste sensations with a cause & effect wine tasting,
varieties/cultivars, storage and service with a tutored white wine
tasting.
Lecture 2 Viticulture, harvesting of quality wine, winemaking practices and a tutored red wine tasting.

R 1250 per person - day course (optional lunch at R130 per person)
