From Burgundy to Spain and Italy, Wine Cellar's Intro Tastings will guide you through the world’s top wine regions.
Wine Cellar's 2014 tasting line-up offers something for every palate and pocket. Along with our regular tastings, which feature wines from the world’s top producers, we are once again offering our hugely popular Introductory Tastings. These informal events will guide you through famous regions and wines from around the world and cater to both the novice and seasoned taster.

Running from February to April, this year’s series will cover Bordeaux, Burgundy, Italy, the Loire, international sparkling wines, Spain and the Rhône Valley. We will taste between 12 and 16 wines each evening and the benchmark international wines will be compared to top SA wines that are pushing the boundaries.

All Introductory Tastings will be held at Wine Cellar’s offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Tickets cost R295 per person and full details are available on Winecellar.co.za. 

Along with our Introductory Tastings, this year’s regular tastings include: Raats and New MR de Compostella Release, Antipodean Experience, Drouhin Dinner with Véronique Drouhin, and Duncan Savage and His Savage Wines.
