On the 26th of April 2014 Môreson will be hosting the inaugural back-to-basics New School Grand Cru Chardonnay.
Our
aim, along with 22 other participating Chardonnay producers, is to showcase the
amazing versatility of Chardonnay … the noblest of noble cultivars. We haven’t
restricted the participating farms to style nor have we limited them to
still-wines because what we’d like, more than anything else, is for them to
bring their ChardonnAy-game to our festival.
We,
as South African Chardonnay producers, are shaking things up; we’re kicking all
pretentious elements to the curb; we’re focusing on kick-ass Chardonnay and the
people involved in imagining and creating these them.
Our
award-winning restaurant, Bread & Wine Vineyard Restaurant, will be open
for dinner on the 26th of April 2014. Bookings for this evening are
disappearing at a rate so let us know if you’d like a table ASAP.
