Join Lanzerac Cellar Master, Wynand Lategan, and Executive Chef, Stephen Fraser, on Wednesday 29 October for an unforgettable Winemaker & Chef’s Dinner at the Lanzerac Hotel’s Taphuis.

The Taphuis is a historic Cape country bar believed to be one of the oldest in the Western Cape. The authentic Cape Country bar’s interior is richly decorated with antique yellow wood furniture and an impressive Cape Dutch fireplace as the centerpiece.

The theme for the evening is Chardonnay and includes a delicious four-course dinner carefully paired with various vintages of Chardonnay ranging from 1999 to 2013. On arrival guests will be welcomed with a glass of the Lanzerac Chardonnay 2012 and canapés whilst admiring the beautiful Jonkershoek sunset overlooking the vineyards and valley.

Guests will take a short stroll up to the Taphuis where Stephen will welcome guests before enjoying the culinary feast he has prepared. Wynand, who has been with Lanzerac for just over a decade and infuses his winemaking philosophy in every bottle, will present the wine tasting.
