Calling city slickers to experience a hip urban wine adventure, when Fine Wine Events and Tuning the Vine host Cape Town’s first #InnerCityWineRoute. Tuning the Vine 2015 links some of the City’s most exciting venues, taking in the hippest streets stretching from vibey Bree Street to sassy Wale Street.

Destinations on this epic route include Youngblood Art and Culture Gallery, Dorrance Wine Cellar, Signal Hill Winery, Streetfood (from November), Publik Wine Bar, Weinhaus & Biergarten, House of Machines, Bocca, Tjing Tjing Torii and Rooftop Bar, The Gin Bar (behind Honest Chocolate), the Reserve Wine Vault at the Taj, Mint and the Twankey Bar. With the curated mid-week wine adventure offering unique wine experiences at every stop.

What’s on and price
Access to the #InnerCityWineRoute adventure costs R150 and tickets can be purchased via Quicket. You get a glass and access to wine tasting across all 13 route venues, as well as crash courses and cellar talks on a first come first served basis. Tickets purchased on the day cost R175. Tickets can be bought and glasses collected at Youngblood on Bree Street and Mint on St Georges Mall.

Awesome extras
You can also book a Sommelier Taste Tour for an extra R100 a person. This guided wine adventure customised to suit your tastebuds, lasts about
45 minutes and will lead you to new wine adventures. Tours start from Tjing Tjing.

For an additional R200 a person you can also indulge in a fabulous sommelier-led food and wine pairing Taste Theatre experience at Tjing Tjing Torii.
