Select the biltong, gorgonzola and fig tartlets, or deep-fried camembert with strawberries and balsamic cream, for starters. Mains will be a choice between herb-crusted rack of lamb, seared Norwegian salmon or porcini wild mushroom open lasagne. Dessert will be a divinely decadent black forest gâteau, served with berry compote and white chocolate shavings.
There will be a wide selection of Nederburg wines, offered by the glass and by the bottle, including The Winemasters, Heritage Heroes, Ingenuity and Two Centuries collections. Chandré, who is also former Cape Winemakers' Guild Protégé, will be close by to tell you more about the wines, and help with any pairing suggestions.
To top it off, every mother will be treated to a surprise gift from Nederburg.
