For starters you will have the option of:
Cream of cauliflower soup, topped with croutons, mushrooms and finished with truffle oil, served with a parmesan shortbread or
Fresh West coast mussels Provençale served with garlic and parsley toasted crostini or
Avocado and pecorino salad, served with garden micros, toasted seeds, Calamata olives and slivers of cured San Daniela prosciutto, with balsamic reduction and olive oil.
The main course has something for every taste:
Pan fried loin of springbok, served with caramelised beetroot, bacon and Pinotage jus, creamy polenta cake, steamed garden greens and honey baked quince or
Sea bass topped with butter poached prawns, served on crushed new potatoes, accompanied by broccoli and beans or
Oven roasted Mediterranean style baby chicken, served on pearl barley risotto, stuffed with oven roasted vegetables and accompanied by a green side salad or
Sirloin steak & chips, with pepper & cognac cream, sauce, butternut fritters with cinnamon sprinkles and steamed green vegetables or
Sweet potato, lentil and aubergine moussaka & salad
To end off the feast:
Crepe Suzettes served with Grand Marnier and salted vanilla ice cream or
Dark chocolate fondant, served with whipped cream and drunk cherries or
Exceptional 3-cheese platter with red wine poached pears and green pepper mascarpone.
Each mom will receive a bag of herb flavoured sea salt, a free wine tasting voucher, a glass of Longridge Brut MCC, as well as a wrapped petit four.
