Starters

ROAST SWEET POTATO SOUP

Pickled shimeji mushroom, toasted hazelnut and onion crumbs

GREEN SALAD

Avocado, spring onion, cucumber, blue rock cheese toasted pumpkin seeds, mixed baby leaves

CALAMARI

Pan fried calamari, tempura green beans, kalamata olive tapenade, crisp capers, baby leaves with a squid ink and lemon vinaigrette

YELLOWFIN TUNA

Seared Tuna, Tuna ceviche, pea puree, pea dressing, salad of grilled pear, sundried tomato and dill

QUAIL

Quail and Bacon boudin, poached quail egg, pancetta chip, Caesar salad

MAINS

CAULIFLOWER & GNOCCHI

Grilled cauliflower steak, parmesan gnocchi, beetroot puree with a beetroot, mushroom and basil ragout

SUSTAINABLE FISH

Pan fried fish of the day, horseradish and sour fig risotto, shaved fennel and radish salad

CHICKEN

Roast chicken breast, brandade, creamed leek and roast garlic, blackened corn salsa, crisp fried leek

AFRICAN GAME

Grilled loin, smoked aubergine maize meal, chakalaka, buttered baby marrow, chick peas and fine beans with a toasted pine nut and coriander dressing, red wine jus

WILD BOAR

Slow cooked wild boar belly rashers, sautéed jerusalem artichoke, butternut puree, cauliflower rice with ash, broccolini, baby carrots, blue cheese jus

BEEF SIRLOIN STEAK

Roast sirloin steak, porcini puree, caper and brie crushed baby potato, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onion and bacon, red wine jus

DESSERTS

CHOCOLATE

Chocolate cremeaux, crème fraiche sorbet, vanilla squash and chocolate crumbs

LEMON

Lemon posset, ginger beer ice cream, lemon honey cake, confit lemon, ginger almond tuille

PANNA COTTA

Coffee panna cotta, amarula brulee, cocoa nib ice cream, shortcake, smoked hazelnuts

Langbaken karoo sunset cheese, smoked aubergine puree, sour fig and goji berry compote, mustard cracker
