The market organiser wishes to thank Blaauwklippen Estate Management for their continued support for the market. No market can be a market without its traders. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of them for their continuous and loyal support.

Lastly but most definitely not the least, the Market, as a whole, would like to thank you, our loyal guests. We wouldn’t have been where we are today without your support. We look forward to sharing another happy 5 years with all of you!

2 October
On this day of our birthday, we are sure that some of the traders will join the celebration with something special up their sleeve.
As usual we have Me Barbara Collins and her traders of the Antique Fair exhibiting their collectables and curiosities in the Carriage House. Browse amongst the stalls; talk to the traders and appreciate the objects from way back when.

G-Man and the Gingers: A crazy, creative name for a group of musicians, isn’t it? These two guys are nothing else but that: hot stuff! You will enjoy their sublime interpretations of classics from Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and Tom Perry right through to more modern hits from Avicii and Mumford & Sons.

9 October
So many of you will already be familiar with the sounds of Stuart, our musician for the day. He not only provides popular hits but has way of interacting with the visitors, especially if there is a birthday or a crowd of enthusiastic music lovers.

Stroll around; visit the goats and kid goats or just laze in the sun or shade. Meet some of the traders. Talk to the traders about their wares and get to know them, you never know what you may find.

16 October
This is the day of our monthly Vineyard Doggy Walk which we have been hosting for the past 5 years. Please help the wonderfully unselfish people from the Helderberg Animal Welfare. Please support the Doggy Walk – your fee of R20 will go towards their bills and food. Please also feel free to bring a bag or two of dog food along.

The Market offers many interesting delicacies: some delicious fudge and nougat – all handmade; a selection of sugar or caramel coated nuts and then the stall popping with the most delicious and beautifully made cakes, cupcakes and a lemon meringue pie to die for.

Dirkie & Talisa on guitar and violin will be providing the music on this day. Visitors enjoy their lively renditions Gipsy jazz and melodies with a distinct Spanish feel.

23 October
Newton Theron is back! He will definitely entertain you with his extensive repertoire of well-known and not so well-known songs whilst you wonder through the market experience all the wonderful wares on offer.

30 October
Ricky Nass has recently joined us and subsequently become one of our favourite musicians. His music is enjoyed by visitors and traders alike because he is so passionate.
Summer will soon be here, time to stock the larder for the beautiful days ahead. Look for Patrick, his olives and delicious preserves; taste some aromatic teas from Raymond’s tea stall; try delicious cheese or a cheese platter from Pickadeli served by Peter and Vivienne; and allow Gary and Robin, from Pierre’s Deli, to help you select some spicy sausages to take home.
