Matchmaker Wade Bales presents the Wade Bales Wine & Malt Whisky Affair, presented by BNP Paribas Cadiz Securities.

Join Wade Bales and 20 of South Africa’s premier wineries, including Paul Cluver, Ernie Els Wines, Vilafontè and Delaire-Graff Estate, as they each showcase 5 wines alongside 50 top Malt Whiskies at African Pride, 15 on Orange Hotel, Cape Town, on Friday 16 May.

Amongst the top single malts at this exclusive event will be a new entrant, the Bruichladdich Scottish Barley and their Port Charlotte. New and exciting variants of Glenfiddich, Glenfiddich 19 Year Old Madeira Cask & Rich Oak, will also be showcased alongside Glenrothes, Laphroaig and Glen Grant.

Discover Japanese Whisky – Nikka – which has become one of the most famous Distilleries in the world, winning several international awards including World’s Best Single Malt in 2001 and 2008.

Master Classes in Whisky and Wine will be available on the night, with whisky experts and winemakers in attendance – an opportunity to gain unique insight into the secrets of the grape and the grain. There is a nominal fee of R 20 per person, per class.

“A combination of both fine wine and malt whisky under one roof, presented by a select group of invited exhibitors, make this event a stylish and sophisticated experience,” says Bales.
