For one night only, Mooiplaas' renowned Langtafel will be taken over by up and coming Durbanville chef Jaco Redelinghuys (Yoko Eatery and [spasie]) in collaboration with the lifestyle blog BraaiCountry.co.za. The Christmas in July Gourmet Pop-up Dinner will boast no less than six gourmet courses paired with the best that Mooiplaas has to offer.

Join us for an old school Christmas vibe with sensational food and wine at Mooiplaas Wine Estate on 25 July 2015.

For one night only, Mooiplaas' renowned Langtafel will be taken over by up and coming Durbanville chef Jaco Redelinghuys (Yoko Eatery and [spasie]) in collaboration with the Lifestyle Blog BraaiCountry.co.za. The Christmas in July Gourmet Dinner will boast no less than six gourmet courses paired with the best that Mooiplaas has to offer.

On arrival guests and expect to be received in the historically dated 1803 tasting room. A glass of mulled wine on arrival will set the Christmassy tone for the rest of the evening.

Dinner will served in Oupa and Ouma Roos' original Cape Dutch homestead at the renowned Langtafel. The six courses will be a modern interpretation of the traditional American Christmas Dinner. All courses will be paired with wine by the glass from Mooiplaas and a brief introduction to the flagship wines will be given by winemaker and estate co-owner Dirk Roos.

Cindi Page from the Northern Suburbs and Winelands blog BraaiCountry.co.za will also be relaunching her blog under its new name WordofMouthCT.co.za at the event.

The evening will conclude with coffee in the voorkamer.

The cost is R485 per person and seats are limited.
