On 27 February 2016 is it is the ideal opportunity to hit the road and venture out to the scenic Darling winelands for the annual Darling Cellars Crush Day. This lively, family friendly soiree features a tractor ride to the vineyard, picking your own grapes, stomping contests, food markets and live music.

Kick the day of with a healthy Darling breakfast. Then it is off to the vineyard to pick your own grapes. The highlight of the affair is the grape stomping contest that will see teams grab grapes and smash the purple-skinned fruit enthusiastically to determine who can produce the most juice. Prizes are up for grabs. The best dressed team will also be awarded.

While parents are enjoying a glass of wine after having lamb on the spit for lunch, the little ones can play to their hearts’ content in the play area with a jumping castle and slip a slide. This is certainly an event fit for the whole family.

In short this is the sort of fiesta that you don’t want to miss out on. So to make sure you don’t pass up the opportunity, make your booking at tasting@darlingcellars.co.za and join us for a fun day.
