It has been almost four years since the launch of Luna's first Afrikaans CD, Storielied. The time has come for music fans to experience Luna's new compositions in Afrikaans. Her involvement in productions such as “Die Ander Konsert”, “Korreltjie Kantel” and “Elders aan Diens”, inspired Luna to write and compose a series of new music in her mother language.
This special performance, “Solosang” is a concert in which Luna combines these new songs, as well as a selection of favourites from Storielied, with adaptations of her songs from “Die Ander Konsert”, “Korreltjie Kantel” and the film Snaaks Genoeg. In Solosang, Luna's voice and lyrics are in the spotlight throughout.
Those attending the concert will each receive a complimentary online gift voucher to purchase Luna's new single. Luna is accompanied by her very capable band Schalk Joubert (on bass guitar) and Kevin Gibson on drums.
