Lakeside Lodge & Spa, a five-star picturesque estate near Sedgefield has an elegant Mother’s Day lunch planned on Sunday, 8 May 2016.
The fine dining establishment, Benguela Brasserie & Restaurant, situated on the estate is offering diners a two or three-course meal, created by Executive Chef Kelly-Anne Pietersen.

The lodge overlooks the Swartvlei Lagoon and sets the scene for a sophisticated yet relaxed dining experience. Lunch will be served at 12h00 and guests can choose 2 courses for R350 per person or 3 courses at R395 per person. The crown roast chicken breast with baby onion, mushroom, bacon and jus and a salted chocolate tart with caramel popcorn and vanilla caramel swirl ice cream are just a couple of the dishes found on the set menu for this special occasion.

Also available is a selection of the owner’s award-winning Benguela Cove wines. Proudly South African and produced at Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate in Hermanus, these wines simply complement each dish at Benguela Brasserie & Restaurant.

The nine luxury suites at Lakeside Lodge & Spa, each with lake views are light and furnished in a contemporary classical style. Many activities are available at the estate including a lovely sunset cruise on the Lady Giselle Pontoon Boat and a rejuvenating day spa with two single treatment rooms as well as a dual treatment room for couples or mom and daughter treatments.
