The annual Nederburg Debut Concert on Sunday 26 June marks the start of this popular concert series. In the spirit of Youth Month, the extraordinary talent of young South African classical pianist, Megan-Geoffrey Prins, is celebrated. Award-winning Prins, who is currently furthering his studies in the USA under the international pianist, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, will play a virtuoso programme of works by Haydn, Brahms, Rachmaninov and Messiaen.

In Songs from the Heart, on Sunday 31 July, the audience will experience the captivating vocal talents of accomplished soprano, Louise Howlett, and mezzo soprano, Jolene McCleland. For their delightful programme of songs dedicated to love and life, they will be accompanied by well-known pianist, Stefan Lombard, and clarinetist, Visser Liebenberg.

Two Blondes-One Piano, on Sunday 28 August, features the renowned pianists, Zorada Temmingh and Elna van der Merwe. Audiences familiar with their concerts know them as a two-piano duo. However, for the Nederburg Concert Series, they will perform together on one piano. The programme includes charming piano duets, as well as special arrangements with their signature Two Blondes touch.

On Sunday 25 September, the return of Spring is celebrated with the enchanting sounds of Music for Harp and Flute. Taking their first bow on the Nederburg stage, the acclaimed South African harpist, Kobie du Plessis, and flautist, Louisa Theart, are set to take the audience on a magical journey of music from around the world.

The concert series concludes on Sunday 30 October with Andalucian Nights, featuring SAMA Award-winning classical guitarist, James Grace, and flamenco guitarist, Saudiq Kahn. This thrilling programme includes original flamenco guitar music, arrangements of flamenco-inspired classical music, as well as a contemporary mix of Spanish music, uniquely arranged for two guitars. Melodies composed by Albeniz, Turina, de Lucia, di Meola and the Gypsy Kings can be enjoyed.

All concerts start at 5pm and take place in the intimate Music Room of the Nederburg Manor House. The ticket price includes sherry on arrival, Nederburg Brut poured during interval, plus iconic Nederburg wines paired with a delicious finger supper, traditionally served after the concert.
