Durbanville Hills is calling on all superheroes to support the Durbanville Hills Workers Trust by taking part in a fun-filled Harvest Trail Run. Participants of the 8km trail run are encouraged to show their support for the worthy cause by dressing up as their favourite superheroes.

This is the first Harvest Trail Run in aid of the Workers Trust, and encourages everyone to join for some fun in the vineyard that boasts panoramic views of Table Mountain and Robben Island. This is such a commendable cause and the event promises to be a fantastic time for the whole family. As always, there will be a great vibe, amazing giveaways and delicious Durbanville Hills wine on hand.

Established in 2000, the Durbanville Hills Workers Trust aims to improve the quality of life for employees and their children on the winery as well as surrounding farms. To date, the Trust has established a crèche, improved the facilities at under-resourced rural primary schools attended mostly by children of farm workers and sponsors all farm workers’ children wanting to attend the nearby Durbanville High School. For the adults, life skills programmes are offered on the farms, with farmers providing the necessary facilities and allowing workers time off to attend.

ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN.
