The Pebbles Project Trust was started in 2004 to respond to the needs of children living in wine farm communities in the Western Cape. Prior to the existence of Pebbles, these children had little or no Early Childhood Development education and were starting school with poor preparation for their educational careers. In addition to this, many of the children live in seriously deprived circumstances, with high levels of financial and social deprivation.
Sick children cannot learn, so in 2014 Pebbles partnered with the Cipla Foundation, who sponsored an ultra-modern modular Owethu Clinic. This incredible facility provides a full range of critical wellness and health services. All our beneficiary children are cared for free of charge, however we need your help to continue to provide these much needed services to these children and their communities.
