The days are slowly but surely growing longer and already the sun is warmer. Come visit Blaauwklippen Family Market where you can bask in the gentle sunshine, with plenty of space for the kids to run around.

6 AUGUST – ANTIQUE FAIR

The once-a-month Antique Fair will take place again, where you will find a comprehensive collection of goods from yesteryear, so browse to your heart’s delight.

Our live entertainment will be provided by G-Man and the Gingers who will be performing their interpretation of classics from Bob Dylan, Neil Young as well as more modern hits.

13 AUGUST

Mark Haze promises a performance like no other. Expect soaring vocals, dynamic guitar work, pulsing rhythms and plenty of crowd participation.

Have you tried some of our pizzas from Postino? If you haven’t, you’re missing out! Visit the Deli for some aromatic Eastern tea to take home or spoil yourself with some delicate, baked goods from Cilla’s or real, homemade sweets from Sweet Dreams.

20 AUGUST – DOGGY WALK

Helderberg AWS will be ready and waiting for you - happy to welcome you and your dogs for a brisk, or relaxing, walk amongst the vineyards. The dogs may walk for free but your donation of R20 will go towards the funds of the Animal Welfare. The walk starts at 10 but you may take as long as you wish to complete it and join us at the market afterwards for some refreshments.

As always, we are very happy to welcome our “bearded musician”, Newton Theron back for some enthusiastic entertainment.

To quench your thirst after the walk, you are spoilt for choice. Iced tea from Piroschka’s Kitchen or a refreshing juice from Dr Juice. While you are sipping on your refreshments, browse through the market and feast your eyes on the wares on display.

27 AUGUST

It hasn’t taken Guy Feldman long to become another of our favourite entertainers. Not only does he perform popular music such as soft rock of the 60s – 90s, but also provides a broad range of some favourite home-grown hits.

Lunch can be so exciting at the Blaauwklippen Family Market for the choice is vast. Try some chicken schnitzel on a bun; a delicious German sausage; a vegan wrap or some Chinese dumplings.

We would be thrilled to welcome you at the Blaauwklippen Family Market.
